Anyone watch this. It's fascinating. I felt really sorry for the mans wife, her life can't be easy with a husband with such severe PTSD. The police obviously thought he was very dodgy from their comments about not knowing who the real person was.

Does the son not live anywhere near his dad? I would be out looking for him if he was my dad, I'm surprised he's just waiting at home.

Michael has been massively failed by mental health services.

I feel so sorry for the son, only 25 and yet the burden of responsibility is all on his shoulders. The stress of this constantly happening must be unbearable and from the reaction of the neighbours, it's not the first time this has happened.
If Dad books a taxi at Midnight out into the open countryside, how on earth can his son be expected to go looking for him?
Glad to see Michael was now willing to work with his MH team and be involved in decision making.

Toddlerteaplease · 26/08/2020 22:32

Where on earth would his son start looking. It would be a needle in a haystack. This one is definitely a job for the professionals.

Looks as though the Misper was intent on going missing?

If he has capacity to make decisions, then he has free will, I guess.

An awful situation for the son. Let's hope that his dad's care plan works.

Tonight episode is from the first series. The poor man who crashed his car on the roundabout, but no one saw it happen.

I remember watching this when it was on before and I’ve got some questions.
Why did the wife not report him missing till 3 days later?
Why did she lie about where she saw him last?
She also lied about their behaviour at the bbq.
I know these questions don’t really matter as they don’t affect the final outcome.

Toddlerteaplease · 09/09/2020 22:16

Yes. The wife's behaviour was very odd.

I've just watched the one about the dad with mh health issues.

I really felt for his poor son. I understand that his dad isnt well, from what he said he became ill when the son was in primary school. Its must be so so hard to have to go through that time and time again, I cant imagine.

I know it's not his dads fault and he's ill, but to have all the burden on that lads shoulders at 25 must be horrendous.

I hope his dad can get a proper care plan now. It was so sad all round.
