Locke and key on Netflix
Normal people BBC
The secrets she keeps BBC

A little different but I'm now watching a series called the secret Life of gypsy kids. It's brilliant. The kids have loads of different talents . They are funny too.

Is Locke and key good? Worth a watch?

sorryforswearing · 20/08/2020 01:30

Rewatching Line of Duty from the beginning. Hopefully I’ll understand it all this time. Watching Law & Order UK. Both have all episodes available on demand.

The Other One. Comedy about the family of a man who was married with a daughter but also had a lover and a daughter. They only found out about each other after his death. Both daughters called Catherine but the official family are middle class and unofficial family are not. The pilot was on a few years ago but they've finally made a series. Worth sticking with, the cast are excellent and the character development over the series is great. Good on grief and family. Loved it.

Other than that Normal People, Staged, and lots of David Olusoga (my current History buff crush - sorry Lucy!).

newbie222 · 20/08/2020 16:42

The sinner - loved it!

UnfinishedSymphon · 20/08/2020 16:48

We've now got Britbox and since lockdown started we've watched, in no particular order, from start to finish

Doc Martin
Law & Order UK
Whitechapel
DCI Banks
Shetland
A Touch of Frost
Under Suspicion
Trial & Retribution
The Bay
The Loch

Normal People, Taboo, rewatched Sopranos from the top. Looking for something new for tonight....

babyguffingtonstrikesagain · 20/08/2020 18:38

Queen of the South on Netflix

It's like a lot of the other programs about a drug cartel in Mexico but I really liked this one as the two main characters are both female.

ursuslemonade · 20/08/2020 18:51

On netflix I've watched Shtisel (very different to others), When heroes fly and Hostages (all israeli made)

rosegoldwatcher · 20/08/2020 19:29

Dirty John 2 - Betty Broderick (Netflix)
Mrs America (BBC iplayer)
The Bridge Series 3 (bought for £4.99 on Amazon prime)

Currently watching World's Toughest Race Eco Challenge Fiji (presented by Bear Grylls) on Amazon Prime.
I'm loving this - as an all time fan of The Amazing Race and more recently Race Across the World.

Fosse/Verdon was BRILLIANT. I might watch it again.

The Bureau. French political drama thing.

Ride Upon the Storm. Danish family where the father is a priest.

The Deceived, Channel 5 I think. Schlocky mystery drama. Oddly compelling.

Different to all those: Selling Sunset. Grin AMAZING.
