Loved Chernobyl. What to watch next ?

I thought Chernobyl was brilliant despite the dark subject matter. I know it was pretty unique but could anyone recommend box sets that would be equally gripping ? I have Prime, NetFlix and iPlayer (More4, 5 etc). TIA

Agree, thought the Looming Tower was great. Similar vein - Manhunt Unabomber on Netflix was excellent as is Unbelievable - based on a real case.

I second the recommendation for the Unabomber one.

Not a box set, but a 90 min documentary on YouTube called the definitive jack the ripper (or similar), I thought it was really well made.

Another recommendation for dark on Netflix. Only part way through series 2 but enjoying it a lot so far.

Seen all 3 seasons now (don't worry, I won't drop any spoilers). Well worth watching in German with the English subtitles I would say though OP

Giri/Haji has been added to Netflix and is very good - a joint BBC & Japanese produced crime thriller.

Chernobyl was incredible, so harrowing and moving. I thought it explained so well how it all happened.

I'd recommend Dark too, it's complex and challenging to watch, but very rewarding.

I recommend the Americans on prime :)
