Superb television.

Incredibly powerful interviews.

One of the best things I have seen in years. Really explains what happened in Iraq from many different viewpoints and the rise of Isis.

I'm catching up. Currently on number 2.
What a heart breaking mess.

Still some humanity and humour showing through though.

Incredible. It absolutely broke my heart, and perfectly illustrates my belief that war is just legalised murder. Those poor people, what the hell did the West do...

megletthesecond · 03/08/2020 22:19

It's strange thinking how it did seem to be a mess when it's was actually happening. But, surely it couldn't be the balls up it appeared to be at the time. It was.

I'm reading The Unravelling by Emma Sky. Another account of the mess the West made in the Middle East.

I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

We've just finished watching the series. Very educational, harrowing and heart breaking. I would definitely recommend that everyone should watch it.

Absolutely amazing documentary. It's unreal what people have to live through. Even though I know a number of people who have fought in wars, I couldn't even imagine it was like that.

Things like this should be shown in school history classes.

billydilly · 10/08/2020 09:59

Superbly done, everyone should watch this.

I thought it was great. Those poor people. Blair and Bush have blood on their hands.
