Did anyone see this on BBC? I saw the first two episodes last night and I absolutely loved it. Love love love all the characters and the courtesan's singing - oh WOW!
Off the back of it I ordered the book off amazon only to discover it's one of the longest books written in the English language at something like 1500 pages!
