Lost - which was the series that switched from normal TV?

I know I definitely watched Series 1 on 'normal TV' ... and possibly Series 2. So does that mean it was Series 3 that switched on to Sky or whatever?

I'm putting it down as a birthday/Christmas present suggestion for myself but am a bit muddled as to where I got to! Think that the doctor, Sawyer, the girl and one/two other's had just been captured by 'The Others' at their village and seem to recall it finishing with them all kneeling down on the end of a jetty and then there being a big flash - something like that!

Can anyone help?!

Series 3 went to Sky, ggggrrrrr

Sky bought it before series 3 started, so all future ones will be on sky. Can't see them putting it on for free any time soon, either..
