We watched both series and really enjoyed it. Yes it is bonkers, but as you say, in a brilliant way. We watched it on Sky Atlantic.

It's so good!!! Make sure you watch the second series, The New Pope. It's just as good!!

I've watched both series and absolutely loved it. And yes to fancying the pope! Very disarming!

I watched this when it was first on! Beautiful and bonkers. Jude Law excelled himself, I think. I agree with others that the second series surpasses the first.
