Long lost Families USA - anyone watching?

It’s on Quest Red at 7pm.

I hate the USA version it's always over dramatised. I also hate that if the person they are looking for has died they break the news to them on camera rather than privately like they do here.

Ooooo I love it! Just watched the whole of series 3 (seems to be the only one available at the moment).

It is a little bit more dramatic but actually it's reasonably sensitive.

I especially liked that it gave a really different view of ordinary Americans!

I’ve recorded them so haven’t watched them yet, apart from the odd snippet. They seem to promote Ancestry.com a lot on it, but I still love hearing about the stories etc.

Oh those shows have me sitting there 'sobbing ' and I don't use the word lightly. ..
Maybe because my mother was an adoptee. ..sometimes I can't stand it and have to switch off. ..
