Just finished watching this 8-part season on Now TV. It has won loads of awards in the US and I can see why - absolutely brilliant! Probably the best series I have watched in a long time and that includes Succession, Devs, Mad Dogs, Chernobyl etc. Is anyone else watching or has already seen it?

I’ve watched it. Absolutely brilliant. The characters have stayed with me since I watched it a few months back.

Watched it a month ago and loved it. I could honestly just watch a whole series following the lawyer’s daily life, what a lovely character and great actor.

Spoiler below

The one thing that bothered me, and I’ve seen this on many discussion boards, is how the defence never brought up during the trial the fact that he didn’t have any blood on him, which wouldn’t make any sense (had he been the killer) considering the amount of blood on the crime scene.

It's excellent. Watched it a few years ago on sky and I still think about it. It's even better than the Criminal Justice which had the same storyline, except its British

Couldn't agree more User647647. I thought the lawyer stole the show and incredibly he was the third choice actor to play the role. James Gandolfini unfortunately died before they started shooting and the 2nd choice actor, De Niri, couldn't make the dates. Can't imagine either of those would have been as good!

Re Spoiler Alert - we thought exactly the same but it didn't in any way detract from what was an exceptional series though.

I also loved this series!

The lead was excellent but I haven't seen him in anything recently.

It was fantastic wasn't it. I can't watch many things twice but I'd watch it again.

Have just started watching The Plot To Kill America (on NOWTV) which is excellent and John Turturro, the fantastic actor who so brilliantly played the lawyer in On The Night, is in that as well - but not as likeable this time!

Loved this as well.

Just finished seeing this. I agree re the blood.

The only thing is absolutely loved the first episode. It just totally summed up the feeling of Naz's situation. I did find the rest of it a bit of a letdown in comparison. I didn't really need to know the rest of the stuff, I would have rather focussed on Naz and the policeman in a more real police procedural kind of way. I didn't want to know about the lawyer; even though I love John Tarturro and liked his character. It felt a bit separate to me.
