Dark - Series 3 - Boris/Alexander - Don’t read unless completed

I’ve just completed all 3 series. Bloody loved it! But I feel like the story about Boris/Alexander was never resolved. We know he came to our original world in 1986 having murdered someone. But we don’t know who or why or when? And then the detective seemed to be onto him. But where did that detective come from? And was I right in thinking he was the really old guy from the past.... the father of the blind boy? Is that the connection with Boris?!

They were the grandfather and great-grandfather of HG Tannhaus. Boris' fate is left unknown. He existed because his existence didn't depend on the Jonas/Martha family tree but he may never have come to Winden. If he did, come to Winden, he never found Regina being bullied by Ulrich and Katharina as Ulrich didn't exist and Katharina and Regina had stayed friends. He also never got a job at the nuclear power plant as that didn't exist in the origin world. It's quite sad as Regina and Boris genuinely had the healthiest marriage on the show and I came to quite like Barthoz.

When Tannhaus' time travel experiment ended his world, the two worlds that came from it were were both worse than the origin world. So it's possible that the events of the shooting somehow never happened. Either way, it definitely seems that he never came to Winden, married Regina and had a son with her. On the plus side, the lack of a nuclear power plant, meant that Regina never got cancer.

Ah ok so that was an incidental which didn’t happen in the origin world.

Tthe detective and tahhhaus great grandfather look really similar don’t you think?!

Do you think there will be a 4th series? I feel like Hannah’s de ja vu May have left it open???
