It’s my 3rd viewing and I actually really enjoyed watching it this time. I’m sad I’ve finished now.

Absolutely love Girls, but cannot STAND Marnie. Elijah is my favourite

I'd forgotten how awful Marnie is. She gets progressively worse as it progresses. She's definitely the least likeable.

I started this a few years ago but never finished. Where can I find it? It's not on Netflix or Amazon can I watch it on sky plus or now TV? I really enjoyed what I did watch!

Just watching this for the first time, I love it so much and cannot believe I have missed this - oh wait I know, it's because they are all so hideous and obnoxious and I needed to be in the right head space to cope with how much I loathe Hannah. I do like looking at Adam Driver though.

Marine is a deeply deeply unhappy person though. She’s desperate to be with anyone even if they are totally unsuitable, after the art gallery thing doesn’t work out she’s totally lost about what she wants to do.
I always hated Jessa but this time round I really like her. Shosh is great.

I started continuing series 4 after having got out of the habit when it first aired. I'm not actually impressed, Hannah is very irritating and immature. Considering LD purports to be a feminist, it's very problematic and uncritical which I think reflects her immaturity too.

@Yesitsthethruth123, I know right? Never I have seen such a show where everyone is so unlikeable and with shows like Schitts Creek which is the opposite is true and all the characters are so loveable - I do wonder if LD is trolling us or is she just awful 🤔.

Adam has the absolute best character development. He starts off a disgusting loathsome freak and becomes the only decent human being by the end of it. I did love jessa though and hannahs portrayal of ocd is the most accurate thing ever.

@Doingtheboxerbeat thats the point, the characters are all deliberately unlikeable because it shows the shitty bits of being human. Unlikeable people attract other unlikeable people.

OK, I'm on S6 now and I now think this is one of the most important shows I wish I would have seen in my 20's rather than my late 40's. Hannah is still giving me major Gemma Collins entitled, spoilt narcissistic vibes but my god, how my life would have turned out if I gave zero fucks and it seems to have done neither of them any harm.
I know it's just fiction, but you know deep down it really isn't.

Rewatching this. It’s dogshit, isn’t it? But oddly watchable. 😅

I last watched it in my 20s, the age of the characters, but didn’t get past S2 or S3. I might try to watch it all the way through this time.
