Season 1 & 2 were so good... what on earth happened!?

I agree, it's nowhere near as good as the first 2. Watched about 6 espiodes and finding it quite weird/annoying.....

I gave up halfway through. I just didn't care what happened next. Dullsville.

I think the problem was that the "sinner" was a hugely unsympathetic character. And it didn't help that the actor's range seemed to only encompass how widely he could stare.

I get you but this season was so different from the last 2 .

So glad to see this thread. It was truly dire! Agree the sinner was a really unlikeable character.

Also- there was literally no need for Harry to shoot him

The whole “getting into the grave the known killer has dug” yeah, right.

Jessica Hechts character was just bizarre.

I love the Sinner but I have to admit I just didn’t get it on Season 3 .?
I mean, all of a sudden this married guy with a good job as a teacher and a lovely wife who is pregnant and lives in a lovely house meets up with a old friend from College and then becomes a Pyscho killer ????

Why did the guy who died want to kill the woman in the first place ?
How did he know she lived alone ??

I wasn't wild about season two either, to be honest. I don't know why I put myself through either 2 or 3, but I guess I'm a masochist.

Yes I totally agree about season 2 as I wasn’t that keen on it but let’s be honest it was that ridiculous and unbelievable that it had us wanting to see what happened next .
I was lost half way through it but still had to see it out to the end .

I was really disappointed in this season. What was that all about in the nursing home with the old man. You can’t just wander in in the middle of the night, try and kill someone and then wonder out. No security, no cameras bizarre. The grave scene really freaked me out. What idiot gets into a grave voluntarily.

Glad it's not just me!

Season 1 was great, Season 2 was ok and season 3 was utter tripe.
