Who else is looking forward to this? I can't wait to watch it with DD, loved the books when I was little.

I didn't read the books but I remember them. Will be watching.

I watched the first few episodes and really enjoyed it! Think they did a good job of keeping the feel of the books while updating it to the present day.

I've watched the first couple of episodes and enjoyed them, Kristy and Claudia are spot on casting wise and Claudia's bedroom looks exactly like I always pictured it. I thought it was funny when Claudia told Janine she's the type of person that spends all day correcting people's grammar on Reddit.

I’m loving it so far (4 episodes in, trying to space it out but not succeeding very well!) The casting of the main characters is spot on imo, although not sure why Mary Ann and Dawn have changed race? If they do another season (hope so!) the Jessi/racism story won’t work, because Stoneybrook now seems to be the most multicultural place on earth!

I loved the books as a kid and I am loving this series! My only criticism is that I think they took the Bailey storyline a bit far, like Mary Anne is giving doctors a telling off and Bailey cant possibly wear a blue gown because shes a girl

And I absolutely loved how they modernised Stacey's story!

I was disappointed by Boy Crazy Stacey. It’s one of my favourite books, and I felt it was very rushed. The Pikes had no storyline at all apart from the completely made up one about Byron having a crush on Stacey. And why is Alex gay? It ruins the whole Mary Anne and Too Many Boys story arc!
I may be a little too obsessed 🤣🤣

I didn't read the books so don't know anything about it, my 12 is 12 is it suitable?

12 would be the perfect age I should think. Or 46 🤣🤣
