I must confess to a little sniffle watching last night's Repair Shop (even though it was perhaps a little staged). Specifically leather expert Suzie Fletcher finding the late husbands signature under the rocking horse saddle.

I still shudder at Dom, the metal worker, adding a pole to the childhood merry go round horse that, in the woman’s childhood photos, never had a pole like they do on a carousel. She look horrified in the reveal but it was well edited.

I love Will. So young but so amazing with his woodwork!

I can’t get over that, until I read that Suzie and Steve the clockmaker were siblings I didn’t see it. Now I can’t unsee it. How did I not see it?

Yes it’s very staged. It’s all for affect but, for the most part, they do marvellous things.
