New Nurses - All 4 Danish drama set in the 50s - does it match State of Happiness

Was hoping for something to take the place of State of Happiness.

No it doesn't match State of Happiness.

Based on 1 episode(!) this is a soap.

Harmless doctors and nurses stories, with added elements of class, rivalries and a reverse scenario of trying to get men to become nurses because of a shortage.

Lovely vintage 50s sets and clothes, and so far all very clean!

It's like Call the Midwife only in Dutch and with lots of added Saccharin as if Call the Midwife wasn't Saccharin enough. Harmless enough but not exciting viewing.

Only it's Danish!

I liked the first episode, am going to watch the next one tonight. Have just finished watching the Bridge and wanted something else Scandi but a bit lighter. I've recognised one actress from that already.
