Anyone started the new RHNYC?

Im on the first one. Loving Dorindas look this season. Ramona looks older wit( her new face lift. Im not missing Bethanny and I am liking the new one Leah and Im interested to hear her story and how she came to be friends with Tinsley who was desparate to get married last time I saw her.

I thought the first episode was okay but as the season develops it has returned to the usual high pitched screaming & obnoxious arguments. Dorinda's behaviour towards Tinsley is out of control. Leah turns into an absolute hell-raiser whenever she has a drink. Luann is still as self-centred as ever. And I so wish Ramona would actually just grow up. In quieter moments, she can be incredibly insightful, warm and caring. But then she flips into this monster that behaves appallingly in public (all the shouting & drama) & ditches her friends at the first whiff of testosterone. I'm so over invested in this, aren't I?!

I’m watching it on Now TV but there’s no more episodes until July - Bravo are saying that’s because of lockdown and the editors working from home so taking longer to put the programme together.
Tbh I think this series is a car crash. Dorinda and Ramona are awful - and Sonya (or however she wants it spelt) isn’t that much better either. I hope Bravo comes to their senses and bins the three of them like it has with getting rid of the main “characters” of Orange County. I don’t enjoy watching rude, arrogant, nasty bullies. Rant over!

I thought I’d really miss bethenny but it’s so good.
I won’t give any spoilers in case not everyone is not up to date, my general observations:
luann looks amazing
I like Leah- I’m getting teddy vibes from rhobh
Ramona I think is a little desperate this season- I wonder if she will end up back with Mario
Dorinda is a bitter nasty woman!

Ramona is a trier I will give her that😄

Luanne has a fab figure.

I like Leah too but not Drunk Leah! And agree with the Teddy vibes.

I miss Heather & Carole. They were a voice of reason!

@Justfivemoreminutesplease Who has been ditched from Orange County? I loved the first few seasons but I stopped watching because I cannot stand Vicki Gunvalson & Tamra. Again it’s the constant screaming. It’s not entertaining at all. Seriously, who behaves like that?

Not enjoying this season so much. Dorinda is really horrible but I can see she's in pain.
I would love it if they brought Alex back. She was reasonable but quirky.
I really liked carol but felt she became a bit needy (reminds me of my sil's pomeranian)

Alex lives in Aus now.

Bethenny had this mad laugh at the end of last season. I miss that. I liked bethenny, I feel Andy Cohen really liked her the most.
Romona never changes and yet oddly, can be really insightful.

Vicky and Tamra have been dumped from the OC- I was gutted about Tamra. I liked hers and Shannon’s raport. Apparently Shannon hasn’t bothered up keeping the friendship since Tamra was sacked

Yes, Edina as mentioned above, Vicki and Tamra have been chopped from OC so you can watch it again 😉 I’d like to think Vicki got the sack after her epic rant at the reunion over how dare they keep her waiting as it was her show and she created it - you could just see Andy Cohen giving her real WTF looks. I also read that Tamra was given the option of just filming for a couple of episodes, but was apparently insulted by being only offered $x thousand so told them to bog off. I thought she tried to be the main shit-stirrer last season but wasn’t quite good enough to pull it off. Interesting to see what Shannon does this next season.
And I thought I would miss Bethany more in NY this series. At least she would have told Luann and Ramona to “do one”.... how Dorinda spoke to Tinsley at the Apple farm was appalling. And then Sonya doing a wee (or was it a poo?) and then in the next episode, she’s sat next to Ramona who’s slagging off Leah as Ramona says she doesn’t have the same high standards as the two of them. I don’t see Leah literally pissing on the floor in front of the cameras. I think the Morgan Family really must shudder whenever Sonja is on screen!

Dorinda is a mean drunk. I’m glad she’s finally got rid of that repulsive boyfriend.

From what I’ve seen so far of Leah - she’s a nightmare. No wonder she didn’t drink for several years - she’s an absolute psycho with alcohol on board. She’d be scary on a night out.

I miss Bethenny. She was the only one that made her own money (maybe Ramona too, but she’s just awful) and I found her an interesting character. I’m glad Tinsley has gone - she’s just a silly twit.

They’re my dirty pleasure but I often think these shows set women back. They’re mostly entirely vacuous and happy to leech off their rich ex-husbands while they look for a rich replacement.

I'm really missing it since it dropped off Hayu, the same with BH which I was getting into with the upcoming Denise/Brandi reveal. Dorrit's new home is a big change!

Yes - stopped because of the lockdown and editors taking longer to produce episodes working from home apparently. It’s meant to be back in July - same for Beverly Hills.
I’m going to have to find something else to fix my RH habit in the meantime...... or has anyone watched the new Johannesburg one??

I love ny , loved bethany, love that tinsly got her fairy tale ending i really wish her the best. I started Johannesburg today on eps 2 , watched OC first but couldnt stand vicki and Tamara

I like Leah but can see how annoying she would be to be near when drunk. Miss Bethany.

@Justfivemoreminutesplease Hoorah! Do you know if they've given a reason for ditching them? Vicki in particular was so vile & an attention seeking utter hypocrite. I hope for her sake that that was all for the cameras. Surely nobody can actually get away with behaving like that in real life? Her partner was so quiet too!

I wonder if Shannon will quieten down now that the other two amigos have been sacked? Or will she decide that she is now entitled to the Queen Bee mantle?

I really hope Tinsley does get her happy ever after. She's totally dippy but she does come across as a sweet person who just wants the fairy tale.

I wasn't aware that there was a Jo'burg version! Will take a look this evening. Did anyone watch the Melbourne series? They were so epically trashy . But again, once every ep is dominated by screeching I just can't watch any more.
