Since lockdown we have tried to sit down as a family more to watch tv or a film together in the evening as we don't have clubs, football training etc.
DS1 is 7 and DS2 is 5. Both enjoyed Strictly, Britain's got talent, Ninja warrior. DH is refusing to watch any more Paw Patrol, Pokemon, Horrid Henry... Any suggestions?
We have basic sky, Netflix, and prime if that helps so can watch on catch up. TIA

Hilda on Netflix? Both my DC enjoyed it (8 & 3)

Or

Studio Ghibli films? Totoro, Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery service. These are on Netflix now too.

Sorry just re-read and my suggestions might fall into the same category your DH is getting fed up with!

There's a fairly new Netflix show called The Big Flower Fight, might be worth watching? It's a bit like Bake Off but flower sculptures.

Will have a look, thanks!

Lego masters on All4 is great my 8 year old loved it.

We’d never watched bake off before but ended up loving junior bake off on 4 catch up. And the Inbestigators on Netflix. Have 7yo DS.

Once upon a time on Netflix - fairytale characters that have been cursed and now live in the real world.
Lots of twists, and something for everyone.

Mine love all of the farm programmes on atm and I don’t mind them either!

GreyishDays · 17/06/2020 13:46

Would be worth trying Little Lunch. Might be a bit old for them to be interested in, but it’s hilarious.

Excellent thank you!
Good point on the farm programmes, Will try searching for more on catch up
