Agatha Raisin Series 3 Sky one...anyone watching?

Really enjoyed the first 2 series and now she's back. Not sure if the longer format works as well and I'm missing Daisy (presumably Katie Wix was off filming Ghosts) i love the clothes that Ashley Jensen gets to wear in this.

Is it only available on Sky? I have read a few of the books and would love to watch the series, but don't have Sky.

I presume so as it's a Sky one production. I get Sky through my Virgin Media package.

I watched a couple of episodes before. But the person playing Agatha was so miscast I just couldn't watch it. Nothing like the books.

Viviennemary I agree. I like Janssen as an actress but yes miscast. And though overall I enjoy it as escapism, it gets s bit dramatic and not in a good way.
So, how many of the AR books have you read? I have read too many as mindless escapism especially when pregnant and now with a toddler when serious books are out of question.

Must admit I've not read any of the books....yet. So I've no previous experience of the character. I am an avid reader, just not got to these in the library yet.

I've read quite a lot of them. I liked the book Agatha. It's so disappointing when they do this to adaptations.

I loved listening to it on radio 4 - Penelope Keith is Agatha.
Could never watch the tv version, so miscast.
