Anyone watched this first episode & think it's bordering sexual abuse/domestic abuse! I think it's trying to be a polish/Italian 50 Shades but gosh it's horrendous! Got to be a man who has written it it's terrible! Would love to know if anyone else thinks the same or if it's just me!

It's a film isn't it? The blow jobs seem violent and the sex scenes graphic.
It is a rip off of 50 shades with an equally cheesy script of male dominance but with more chemistry between the actors.

Made me feel sick. Both of the main characters were unlikeable and I thought there was little chemistry. The part where he let her go to Poland was bizarre .
The books are apparently horrific
And really focus on romanticism violence and abuse. He said that he inserted fingers into her when she was sleeping 🤢and there is a lot of talk about rape. I think the author read fifty shades and has written an even poorer, shittier version

I started this and stopped about 25 mins in won't be watching anymore.

I didn't understand the beginning. Did he see her dancing in a blue dress and if so was she being trafficked, or did he dream he saw her.
Also it wasn't really 365, she succumbed in about 14 days.

I think he saw her on another island?! And also, what was the point of the office scenes? They really had no bearing on the film what so ever!

I admit I haven’t watched this - the synopsis alone put me off, sounds so anti women!

It was actually written by a female author! My friend is Polish and we've had a good chat about that film since it got released on Netflix. Apparently in the interviews the author said she was in a stale relationship at the time and wrote the book as a way of escapism and fantasy - I will assume she based Laura on herself.

It's a disturbing plot - especially the scene in the hotel when she's strapped to the bed I'm quite liberal and generally really open to everything and usually completely unfazed by anything like this but it was the lack of consent that made me feel queasy.

The actors are very attractive though and the scenery is beautiful.
I told my friend it would've been a much different story if Massimo wasn't attractive or rich.

It is absolutely disgusting. Glorified porno. Zero plot, zero message, zero talent. Even the sex was awful and the faces he pulled on the boat 😂. It should be in the dictionary next to bad.

I'm only 28 mins in and it seems like it's almost glamourising stalking and sexual abuse 🤮 think I'm just going to turn it off. Terrifies me to think that there are impressionable young girls who may think that this is the right way to be treated by a man

He might be handsome in a conventional way but to me he has the world's most punchable face, ever.

And I feel like I need a sheepdip for my brain. I'm feeling unreasonably angry about everything in the world at the moment and watching this is like a form of self destruction. Help!!!
