Will Yasmeen get her freedom or will she languish in the jail (where so many have before her!) by the end of this thread?

I have to say, it really annoyed me in the caff when Sally came in and Eileen and whatshername were sat and said 'Look... we're Team Yasmeen'

They are pathetic. It's OK saying that now, but why haven't they asked Yasmeen how she is, why haven't they told others, like Aliya, what they were seeing, why haven't they stood up for her. It's alright sitting there saying they're Team Yasmeen but they have done absolutely nothing to help her.

Thought the exact same thing Roussette, poor Sally is caught in the middle.

Eileen saw Geoff lock Yasmeen in the house and just carried on about her day, she heard the row and did nothing.

I was delighted Alya said that about Tim, it made Yasmeen think, hope to god she pleads not guilty.

Carla mentioned the b and b guest and something about Liz, are they together now, I must have missed that.

Agree. Sally is their friend too. And Sally hasn’t been going round slagging Yasmeen off. She hasn’t taken sides. They need to be grown ups and go and make sure their friend Sally is ok because she is now sharing her home with the same monster who was abusing Yasmeen.

I do think Sally is troubled by it all. I think she knows something isn't right but she's got Dim Tim yattering in her ear the whole time..

Yes, Eileen and Kathy have been rubbish. Kathy witnessed Geoff being horrible

But surely Yasmeen didn't know anything about the camera. Otherwise why would she stash her packed suitcase, passport etc, in that bottom cupboard, all stealthily, when Geoff was out of the house?

Did she think it was a security camera, part of their burglar alarm system?

I have a problem taking the actress who plays Cathy seriously. Her entire acting 'toolkit' consists of about 4 pantomime style faces. Utter shite.

It is strange that actors can move between hopeless and good. The writing must plat a part.

I think the writing does encourage crap acting, Sir Ian Mckellan is a celebrated actor, but he was rubbish in corrie imo. Unrealistic, amateurish over acting, just dreadful.

Ooh Geoff has started his sneaky games with Sally- hiding her phone on her! She is so onto him.

I bet he nosed through her phone too. Sally hates him, you can tell. (actually she’s acting this very well).

Why is Dev taking the piss out of Addy the whole time?

Because they don’t know how to do subtle on Corrie. They have to batter us round the head with every developing storyline.

Aadi is being very obviously jealous of the attention Dev is giving to Asha. Dev is treating them differently constantly praising Asha, texting her during the school day, not texting Aadi. Tonight he was saying Asha is a genius and will be a lawyer but Aadi won’t even be good for the kebab shop as he can’t add up. Aadi is making nasty comments to Asha and resents having to move school because of her and now he has been made to work in the kebab shop to help pay for the new school. It’s clearly heading towards some sort of rebellious back lash behaviour from Aadi.

Which is why I’m guessing the brought in an older actor.

I think Mary will be understanding, and sort out the Devs.
