I thought the mystery girl was Scottish? My theory: Johnny chested in his wife Louisa with Sharon, Carla’s mum, and got her pregnant with Carla. Pub lodger, can’t remember his name, was married to Sharon. She got pregnant with Carla. Pub lodger finds out about paternity, hates Johnny forever. Pub lodger and Sharon later had baby together = mystery girl in Rovers tonight = Carla’s half sister.

But Carla knows who the man who was married to her mum was. He was a cousin or friend of Johnnys. I think he raised Carla and her brother for a while at least.

I noticed that about Sean speaking to Dylan as well! They so read these threads! Mystery bloke looks like he could be Roberts Dad (remember Robert? gunned down in the street and no one raised an eyebrow let alone go to his funeral)

Oh no, I’ve got that wrong. I get confused with all these Connor back stories. She knew her mums husband wasn’t her dad but didn’t know who was until a few years ago. But she’d have known if her mum had had another baby with pub lodger man.

I reckon the girl with the Yorkshire accent is definitely something to do with pub guy. I'm actually intrigued by Corrie, that's new.

What was that evil Scottish bloke called who was with Carla for ages - about ten years ago? He helped run the factory and inevitably ended up holding Carla and Hayley hostage. As you do. He had a funny eye...

Urgh I really don’t think they need any new characters. They have more than enough already. They don’t have enough storylines for the ones they have. they’ve already got a strange man skulking around the pub for the past 3 months doing precisely nothing. And now a new Scottish woman who knows what Carla did.

Use the characters you have and write good soap storylines. We don’t need this constant drama and mystery!

I’m aware this is exactly the same storyline as Fizz and John Stape’s drippy daughter.

Tony killed Liam Connor as well. And then I think he got engaged to Maria? Can’t remember what happened after that. Some sort of factory nonsense: someone was held hostage maybe?

Also - I can’t remember why Imran is interested in rick neelan and kelly. Is it because he thinks Gary killed Rana?

I’ve had a google. Jed stone was a Corrie character from the 60’s who came back around the time of Tony Gordon and Tony killed him. Not sure why. I didn’t ready any further incase there were any spoilers.

I remember absolutely nothing about Tony Gordon apart from his bulbous eyes.

I only remember Jed Stone because the actor who played him was in some of the Carry On films, which I love.

Do you not remember his terrifying stag party where they all had masks on of his face including bulbous eyes? And then poor beautiful Liam got run down
