Morning all!
I enjoyed the following and am looking for something light hearted to watch please:

Sex education
Never have I ever
Back with the ex
Love is blind

All quite cheesy! Please recommend me something else on Netflix. Thank you Smile

Locke & Key is an easy (if a bit WHY DID YOU DO THAT? shout at the telly) watch. Good premise.

peachypetite · 15/05/2020 09:53

Good girls

PinkDaydreams · 15/05/2020 10:26

Thank you both! Locke and Key, just watched the trailer and it looks spooky! I’ll give it a go though

iklboo · 15/05/2020 10:29

It's not that scary really. Good concept. Gets you thinking what you would do.

covetingthepreciousthings · 15/05/2020 22:55

Cuckoo?
I think it's on Netflix, or Brooklyn99.

Karwomannghia · 15/05/2020 23:06

Schitts creek

PinkDaydreams · 16/05/2020 07:57

Thanks for the recommendations! I finished watching Dating Around first series yesterday as I’d started it already. Didn’t really like it to be honest, seemed really fake!

Dead to me is fantastic and half hour episodes so very easy to get through.

PinkDaydreams · 18/05/2020 14:58

Half hour episodes definitely good as I can watch a couple when little one is having his nap, I’ll give Dead To Me a try Smile Tried watching workin moms as sister recommended it to me but I couldn’t get into it.

Karwomannghia · 18/05/2020 19:50

It took me a few goes to get into workin moms but really enjoyed it after a few.

PinkDaydreams · 19/05/2020 12:09

@Marianneconnellim hooked on dead to me!!! Thank you for recommending! Just watched three episodes, dying to watch the next one but I need to wake little one up from his nap

@Marianneconnell missed the space between your name and ‘I’m’, sorry!

The Kominsky Method was good on Netflix

TheRattleBag · 23/05/2020 00:02

Another vote for Schitt's Creek - it's tremendous. 21 min episodes so dangerously easy to binge on.....

PinkDaydreams · 29/05/2020 10:15

Finished both series of dead to me last night. Really enjoyed it!
Schitts creek next then?

Morning all!
I’m after another recommendation please on Netflix, series rather than a film.
As well as the list in the op, I’ve also enjoyed:

Below deck
Dead to me
Sweet magnolias
Doctor foster

Thanks all! :)

Schitts Creek!

Luckingfovely · 08/09/2020 11:31

Gilmore Girls
Virgin River
Chesapeake Shores
The Good Witch

Are all lovely and gentle.

The Good Witch carried me though a breakdown a couple of years ago, and Gilmore Girls has got me through lockdown.

PinkDaydreams · 08/09/2020 11:35

I tried schitts creek but couldn’t get into it :(

Luckingfovely · 08/09/2020 12:16

I also watched the first Schitts Creek and hated it. Everyone tells me you have to watch two or three episodes to get into it...

REDLIPSTICKANDNAILS · 08/09/2020 16:28

I turned Schitts Creek off half way through episode one then on a recommendation I watched it again. I then became obsessed, loved the characters and story so much.

PinkDaydreams · 09/09/2020 20:01

Apparently this is us is meant to be good, watched a trailer for it, but it’s no longer on Netflix, nooooooo!
Think I may give virgin river a try

AiryFairy1 · 09/09/2020 20:08

Sweet Magnolias is in the same vibe as Virgin River - I’ve watched and enjoyed both. Waiting impatiently for seasons 2 of both!

Another one I enjoyed is Love (Judd Apatow production, main characters are Micky and Gus)

And another shout out for Brooklyn 99!

PinkDaydreams · 09/09/2020 20:16

Is Brooklyn 99 a police/crime program?

OP posts:
AiryFairy1 · 09/09/2020 20:36

It is a New York cop show, but (I think) it’s funny as heck. They do touch on some deeper themes but it’s mostly very cleverly funny.
