There was a brief mention yesterday about the change in English law surrounding organ donation. Emma Barnett had a really touching interview broadcast on Radio5live this morning.
Because the news is nothing but covid related, I'd not realised until today that it was now the law (presumed consent/opt out,)

CrouchingTraceyHiddenLadders · 20/05/2020 20:30

Time for this beauty

Raahh · 20/05/2020 20:34

Dogs in Hats!!! We all need this, all the time. Grin

One of our local news reader was on the main news, as it was his nephew that prompted the new organ donation law - Max and Keira's law, I think it is.

I think this might be a bit different to the consent thing, but I'm not sure? I know that in the case of Max and Keira, it was rare because they were allowed to find out who the donation went to.

And ladies please form an orderly queue for Shak!!!

CrouchingTraceyHiddenLadders · 21/05/2020 10:26

Raahh they are referring to the change (opt out rather than in)as Max and Keira's law. (Just confirming your query above)

Raahh · 21/05/2020 10:27

Thanks Crouching - I was only half watching the news when it came on.

That's all right raahh. I don't mind going out at all. Different presentation.

Raahh · 21/05/2020 13:51

Actually, a night by myself, without having to think of anyone else, would lovely right now.

And Karen has been making dodgy brownies.

Oh Rob!

@FuzzyPuffling - I have it and have been finding it really weird to have my fear of going out the garden gate state-legitimised iykwim (I'm also shielding).

doctorsnoddy · 21/05/2020 13:52

Yes I think Karen is in trouble now. What was she thinking?
