How come the police woman comes into the pub the morning after the party in episode 1 and says Gideon is dead but then in episode 2 it’s his trial and he’s there?

Is episode 2 a flashback or something?

Yes it's a flashback, I found episode one quite confusing but the flashbacks in episode 2 explain a lot.

And now Grace is pregnant?! I swear she wasn’t in last couple of episodes.
