The Lost Room

For those of you who like mystery/supernatural TV along the lines of X Files may I suggest The Lost Room starring Peter Krause and Julianna Margulies. It's all about items with unusual properties from a mysterious motel room, and a detective's hunt for his lost daughter. Available on Amazon Prime and only 6 episodes.
Any other recommendations along these lines?

It was SO good. Watched it the first time round and really enjoyed it.

If you can find Fringe anywhere that's well worth a watch.

If you can find it anywhere then Daybreak (2006), starring the very lovely Taye Diggs, was fascinating. Groundhog Day type set up with a Cop trying to find out how and why he was framed for murder.

Oooh, thank you. I remember loving it first time round. Love to see it again.
I watched Repeaters on Prime. It’s a film. Obviously we’ve had Groundhog Day but this does raise the interesting possibilities of reliving the same day with other people. Stressful, seems cover it!

I loved the Lost Room. Dark on Netflix is a bit of a challenge to follow but once you do it's incredible.

Apologies for coming back late to the thread.
Loved Fringe and recently watched it all again.
VisitingtheInfidel; Cant seem to find a film called Daybreak - who starred in it.
People seem to rave about Dark, but I've tried it twice and still can't get past the 1st ep.

Locke and Key on netflix is also about keys opening certain doors/objects. Not bad and they are doing a second season.

I watched the Lost Room when first out. Felt like it didn't end properly. Like there was meant to be more.

Bloody loved fringe.

Sorry species5618, I forgot to come back.
It was a TV series. Only ran for a single 13 episode season but does finish properly.

I've only just discovered (and devoured) The Lost Room.

Now I'm mourning that they only made one series. Bloody good stuff that had me gripped to the end.

I'm going to try the free month on Amazon for the app that you need to watch Fringe as it's been recommended on here and sounds just like the sort of thing I'd be into.

Fringe is brill. Starts off a little monster-of-the-week but the writers do develop a story arc and and it ends up in a completely different way from what you might expect.
Warehouse 13 isn't too bad either (if you've not already seen it). it's a bit lighter than Fringe but quite enjoyable.

Binge watched Lost Room first 4 episodes. Love it.

Having to seriously suspend disbelief for Fringe, but it's worth it and I'm enjoying it.

Still a bit disappointed there's only one series/season of The Lost Room as I really enjoyed the concept.
