I’m on the third episode now and it’s amazing, just can’t figure out certain things, like why the banana skin inside the cut up plastic bottle

I was utterly confused about the same part, I’m glad it’s not just me!

I LOVED this series. It was such a wonderful insight into a culture I know nothing about and if you watch the ‘making of’ afterwards, that was fascinating too.

I assumed it was just significant because it showed her that someone had been in her flat?

It was a fantastic series!

CayrolBaaaskin · 25/04/2020 21:40

I don’t think there’s any particular significance, just to threaten her and show that he has been in her flat.

I'm really disappointed there's not more! Don't think there was any particular relevance of the banana, unless someone who knows more can confirm

It’s a brilliant series. There’s a little episode just appeared on Netflix about how they made it. Was quite interesting to see the actors out of character.

I didn’t realise there was a making of, will watch that later. Yeah I got the being in her flat thing, but why cut up the bottle?

Didn't he cut up the bottle to use as a device to pick the lock ?

I watched this and the making of the series too. Then watched One of Us which is a documentary on the same lines.
