Would the detective and Imran have had a chat over the coffee machine in real life? Yasmeen looks like she needs a medical assessment too, her mental state isn't good.

Definitely a medical assessment. She’s clearly not well.

I did wonder why the detective ripped every word of hers to pieces, but failed to even ask about why she kept repeating that she “just needed it to stop”. But I think that’s Corrie once again trying to portray the macho-nasty-detective trope again.

The detective acting was atrocious.

It’s a real shame about that interview actually because the rest of the storyline has been fantastically done.
As someone who’s been in that kind of relationship, it does make me worry that the detectives attitude towards Yasmeen and no one picking up on what’s she’s saying (about the banking codes and wanting it to stop) will make real women to scared to speak out in case they get treated like that by police too

I hope they find the hidden cameras and I am surprised that she didnt find them whilst doing her endless cleaning. Also, hopefully all the escorts being booked will come out too. Surely they will look at his phone and search the house?

I have to say I wanted to shout out to her to leave. Why do some women think they need to put up with this crap?

I always wonder about police looking at laptops/phones etc. I had a situation with the police several years ago where they had to take a device from our home, (we were the victims incase anyone was wondering! ) except none of us could remember the password for it as we hadn’t used it in ages and the police couldn’t do anything to get into it. I was shocked tbh. I thought they would have specialist software to do that.

On the contrary, I thought it a good thing that Yasmeen was wearing the red dress. It was so ill-suited that it will lend the coercion story some credibility.

Yes I think the dress will show that things were very much not normal in the household. It mightn’t be immediately obvious she was forced to wear it but it will provoke questions. Everyone in the pub commented on it.

How bloody brilliant would it be, if Geoff had recorded himself abusing Yasmeen? The chip throwing, the knife yielding, the insults, the forcing her to put on the dress, etc etc.

Yes! The Adam queue. I used to hate everything about him, (that long hair - no way), but I'm very much converted.

Timescale is weird, but they have been away for weeks. And so have a lot of factory people.
