Save Me’s paedophile character Melon

Just finished watching both series and absolutely loved it!

I think it’s interesting that they portrayed paedophilia in two different ways.

Obviously with Gideon he’s viewed as the worst of the worst, but I found with Melons character that I felt empathy towards him at times.

Did others find this too?

Yes but it made me uncomfortable to feel that way. I was always expecting him to be the abductor.

So was I, right up to the end I was expecting him to be one of the men who had been involved!
