Does tv need an aerial for streamed telly to work?

I've managed to break the wall based aerial point in my bedroom. Well done me .

If I get a now tv stick and plug that into the telly will it work? I can't see why not but wanted to check before I order one. Thanks.

Yes it would work but you would only be able to watch through the apps where live tv is about thirty seconds behind actual live tv. If you're not fussed about that you'll be fine.
