I am confused. Can anyone explain the waffle the wonder dog's family tree for me, please? Each child appears to have three dads and two and a half mums... I'm so confused. Admittedly, I'm only half listening as it's babysitting while I work. Help?

It's mum and daughter, and dad and son. Haven't noticed the multiple parents.. although haven't seen it for a while!

Dad has the son with his ex, who is a marine biologist if I remember rightly. So away a lot with work.

Mum and dad are married, each have a child. Doug the son has a mum and she is marrying some bloke. He also has grandparents on his mum’s side. Evie the daughter has a dad in America and a maternal grandfather.

They refer to Evie's dad as her "birth dad", like she is adopted, but then Doug's dad only marries Jess in the first episode, and no adoption is mentioned. How does the "birth dad" fit in? Is he a deadbeat dad? Or a sperm donor? What?! And the song says that Jess is also Doug's mum?! I bet Zoe isn't on board with that?! And then Zoe remarries as well?

It's nice to have a series that makes our family tree look simple, but I'm totally confused. 😂

Evie’s never met her dad. Not sure he knew she was pregnant before moving away or something. Everyone seems very amicable!
