Holby city and casualty after the Coronavirus break.

I'm a bit gutted that after this week these two will be off air for a while as the filming has stopped. However, it's really got me wondering, how will the scriptwriters handle the Coronavirus subject once they start filming again? Will they just not mention it and pretend that Holby is operating in a C-19 bubble? Will they make passing mention of the crisis and the fact that St James' have bravely stepped in to be a Corona centre, leaving Holby city to carry on as normal. Or, are the scriptwriters spending their WFH time writing new scripts that have throw them right into the middle of it.... what do you think?

I think they'll mention it.

Maybe something about the crisis passing but vague enough not to detail what their involvement was. If not they might make out they become a specialist Covid-19 hospital and have just reopened as standard.

I don't think they need to cover it TBH. I'd be happy for them to ignore it completely.

Yes I think I would too, everybody will be thoroughly sick of the subject so I don't think (hope) they'll have lots of Covid storylines.
@CherryValanc is probably right there'll be vague "thank goodness that's over" type comments. I'm interested to see though.

I guess it depends on the situation when they return to filming. It will be tough to insert it into the other storylines really.

Maybe they will explain they have been on secondment to a Nightingale hospital and then leave it at that. That or closed due to a chemical leak or something.

I kind of hope they breeze straight past it, carry on as normal and never mention it. It would seem a bit off to make entertainment out of it and I for one am thoroughly sick of hearing about it already.
