Has anybody watched this - or previous series?

I find him very likeable as a person and I'm already really favourably disposed to any TV comedy originating from Glasgow, as so much of it is just utterly brilliant; but I've seen quite a lot of his comedy sketches over the past few years and.... is it just me, but is he not remotely funny?

He's a very jocular and friendly-seeming bloke and great with the banter, but as for actual comedy? What do others think?

I like him and DH is a big fan (read his book I think) but I agree, not actually funny! We watched last night and didn't really laugh. I did wonder if the Friday 11pm slot (is it only in Scotland?) was relying in viewers being a bit pissed!
