I thought Emma was a sympathetic character, from what I've seen so far, but that was really out of order.
I'd say that was an incidence of workplace bullying. It's not as if the management gave Ruhma a chance to do a handover before she left, and she was using established shorthand in the notes. I don't think she's obliged to answer work calls while suspended, and the doctor implied Ruhma was off work from the Mill because she is guilty of something, which is not the case at all (her disciplinary suspension is from the hospital, her suspension from the Mill is on legal/insurance grounds only). Furthermore, the management are obliged to keep in regular touch with Ruhma and provide support to her whilst on suspension - they seem reluctant to do so. She should contact the union. With this, plus the racist soap dispensers, this this is an employment tribunal waiting to happen! (I may be becoming a little over-invested....)
