I'm on Series 2. It's strange to see Elisabeth Moss in something other than the Handmaid's Tale, but she's smashing it.
I am enjoying the plot of Series 2 so far - I'm 4 episodes in - but the characters?! Confused The annoying and unprofessional tall blonde policewoman (Miranda), the bratty daughter Mary, and her odious boyfriend. I'm disappointed by how little I care about them all. Obviously with the boyfriend this is to be expected, but I had hoped Robin's daughter would be more likeable.
Hopefully this will change over time ...

Also, the sexism, immaturity and ineptitude of the male contigent of the police force has been interesting to observe. Wonder how that's gone down in Oz?!

She’ll always be Peggy from Madmen to me.

I watched the first series. I couldn’t quite find the motivation to start the second. I liked Holly Hunter but in general I found the whole thing overly odd and quirky. I know what you mean about not caring about the characters.

Maybe I’ll give series 2 a bash.

I enjoyed that it was less formulaic than American TV and that the characters, as in life, were flawed.

It's definitely quirky.

With the first series, I much preferred the episodes where the ladies in the containers/Holly Hunter didn't feature as much. I just didn't really get it.

God, the daughter is irritating.

And as lovely is Robin is, I'm not sure being treated like a sexual icon by every man she meets is entirely realistic.
