Hummm had been looking forward to this. Love a bit of old Martin Luther and all the carry on he caused. Strangley disappointing tho. Loved the way they wizzed from the civil war to oooo 1900. Dunno, could have been better.

lol, I didn't see it, and thought it would be fairly pointless to add to the thread with just that. But I've done it now.

Yeah, I like the stuff about Luther, the old legend of the theses etc and the way the reformation sparked so much in terms of freedom of thought, social emancipation as well as spiritual. However, I didn't think this was as in depth as I thought it would be, though now I realise its a four parter it may go deeper.

Thought the presenter was quite ding dongish yeah, but I live quite a sheltered life! The paper described him cruelly as the 'wide mouthed historian'. Wha?
