Strictly Come Dancing

I am so looking forward to this years show! Anyone else? I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I so look forwrad to seeing the outfits as well!

I have heard that the following are on it:

Alesha Dixon
Kenny & Gaby Logan

I do find the judges are a bit ageist. All the older competitors go out early on the judges' votes.

I think Leticia should have gone. I couldn't see ANY improvement in her dance despite the comments given on saturday.

In fact I think both couples danced exactly the same as they did the night before, but for me that meant that Stephanie was still the better performer.

I think it was right to give Kate another chance, after all, she had only done a few hours training as a result of a horribly painful injury. By all means, if she rubbish next week, chuck her out.

Have to agree with you there, Nomdeplume, Kate deserves another go considering her injury. As it is, everyone is competing together this week so it will probably be a bloke to go.

v sorry for stephanie. leticia shd have gone or kate garraway. there ought to be one older woman up there. and agree about gabby logan. it's a game gabby - you are not going to be shot if you lose. enjoy it FGS.

I was so disapointed that Stephanie went. She was hilarious.

Leticia, I have to say I thought was pretty rubbish and if she wasnt Sharon I reckon she may well have gone. Oh and her outfit, they really need to sort it out.

I thought Aleesha's rumba was by far the best and was disapointed that Brendan and Kelly got more points from the judges, altho they were good, I though Aleesha deserved more.

Penny was great as was Gabby and I dont think they gave her enough credit either.

Boys dance was hilarious, loved it. But they so need to up their game.

I thought Letitia did dance better second time round, but Stephanie was good both times! Her reaction at going out was a hoot!

Cross that Kate is still in, feel sorry for her because of injury but don't think her condition will let her continue for many more weeks.

Of the other girls I'd like Alesha to win. Penny is pleasant but a bit anodyne, Kelly is unlikeable and Gabby is plain scary.DH admires her competitiveness

I do think James will be heaping the pressure on an already competitive Gabby as he seems to have a thing about Brendan

Still rooting for Aleisha, her rumba was sublime - atleast she kept her mouth closed (literally) and had a sizzling chemistry with Matthew

Glad it doesn't clash with rugby. Dh is usually good at taking baby during Strictly, but he might have drawn the line at missing the World Cup Final!

I think Kelly is over-rated, Gabby was fab as was Alesha. Don't think any of the men are up to scratch - Matt was good, but no one is in Mark Rampacashs league...

I think Alesha is fab too. She danced really well and LOVES it!

Something false/forced about Kelly that puts me off.

Noticed Gabby smiled a lot more this week - do you think they've told her that she's scary when she goes all uber-competitive?

Was glad they decided to give Letitia a plunging neckline. think the high necks in the last 2 weeks made her look hefty.

Hope Kate doesn't escape this week.

None of the blokes really stood out for me.

Alesha's energy is so infectious. She's great.

Matt improved immeasurably on last week.

I had to laugh at Gethin's tango. His face was funny. That boy sure is pretty but he CANNOT do sexy, his gob was hanging open throughout.

I thought they unfair on Kenny. I liked his dance.

Penny's dance was flappy and ungainly. Although I think her ballroom is beautiful, I think she'll have a bit of a challenge on her hands with the samba and some of the other latin stuff.

I really liked Leticia and Darren. The choice of music was awful though !

Dom is cheeky and sweet (if not a little irritating) but he is realy trying and I'd like to see him stay.

Oh am so cross. I missed it this week. Were the dresses fab? Who was best? Who made a hash of things? Tell me, tell me.... [pleading emoticon]
