This whole thread this morning has been full of disappointments and let downs.

If anyone says anything that will change my opinion of the lovely Len or Gethin then I will just really be quite unhappy.

Well am resisting the DS site (again) but not liking the sound of the result.
I have to say I cannot understand the public fascination with Anton(tony), he comes across as a self satisfied little nicompoop. I remember he really gave Patsy Palmer a verbal pasting that made me gringe and I don't think it's a coincidence that he seems to not get on with any of his celebs. (It was rumoured that Esther Rantzen wasn't enamoured of him either).
Loved Aleshia, is it me or do you think Matt is rather taken with her? Loved Barnesey and don't want Letitia to go, think she will be fun to watch.

I certainly think that Matthew and Nicole had a 'marriage of convenience'. They are still a professional couple so their divorce must have been amicable.

Have started reading the spoiler thread but am going to stop short of the actual spoiler. The people on there are totally obsessed! It's amazing the things that they comment on.

Tigerschick, I'm not so sure about that. They only recently re-paired up as a professional couple. He danced with Charlotte Egstrand after the split

NomDePlum - I bow to your greater knowledge. I just know that they are divorced and are currently a professional pair, so I assumed that the divorce was amicable. May be being a little cynical with the 'marriage of convenience' comment tho.

What does everyone think about the music on the show?
I've never really given it a huge amount of thought (unless there is a particularly good/bad song) but on the Digital Spy thread loads of them are going on about how awful it is.
Just wondered.

Some of the music choices have been pretty rotten imo. I have to say that even though I lurve SCD, last nights show was disappointing.

I love Penny's ballroomn, but her latin is awful.

Agree about Penny - she's too leggy for the latin dances.

I think the people on the DS thread are more down on the singers and the band rather than the choice of music. Comments like: "Oh god they're murdering this song" and "I wonder how much of a mess they'll make of this" etc. Someone even suggested keeping all the dancers and voting off the singers
I have to eat my words a little over the 'Flower of Scotland' comments furthre down - I thought it worked really well in the end

I was suprised as well TC, I was all ready with my cushion to cringe behind but in the end it was ok (the thistle between the teeth was cheese-tastic mind). It had a very usable three beats in a bar.

Live music always sounds so much better, well live. I'm sure if you are there, in the audience, and it's really loud, the music sounds great.

One of the singers did muck up one of the songs last week, I can;t think which one it was but she just didn;t have the range.

Oh and this week they got the timing completely wrong on one of the songs and had to join in halfway through the bar

i think some of the music choices are appalling - gangsters' paradise wtf?

from reading at ds the dancers get little say in the music, it's the producers who choose and they want to keep it 'current' to attract younger viewers

Ever since Mark and Karen did theirs to Hot Hot Hot last serise the others are always going to sound rubbish, IMHO.

They mucked up Delilah ... the singer came in a couple of beats late.

Right... I haven't read the spoiler and my predictions are Penny and Letitia in the bottom 2 and I think that the judges will send Letitia home.
Really hope that I'm wrong.
