I am so looking forward to this years show! Anyone else? I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I so look forwrad to seeing the outfits as well!

Really pleased that Matt did so well - I know it's catty but I'm dead chuffed Kelly isn't top. Actually, I'm more chuffed Brendan isn't top.

What was wrong with John Barnes' dance? I felt like I'd watched a different one to the judges.

I thought it was ok......shows how much I know about Ballroom I suppose.

Tonight was the first time I enjoyed Kelly's dancing, but she simply isn't the best dancer in there.
Alesha was good again tonight (perhaps suffered a bit from coming on first) and Matt and Flavia were fantastic. He's a sweetie
I liked Letitia and Darren too - he's lovely and a great choreographer and she gets better every week. She won't win it but I think she's doing well.

KATE MUST GO I do think the stuff in the press is bitchy but she is by far the worst dancer and it is a dancing contest.

TPTF expert commentary on John's dance (red button) was quite complimentary. They didn't pick up on any of the judge's points. I like his style.

God Matt can dance though, can't he. I reckon he is sleeping with his partner, he seems besotted and the spat was telling imo, lucky girl.

Simply John Barnes is a good dancer and Kate Garraway isn't. On that basis he should stay.

Isn't Flavia married to one of the other dancers (Darren?).

My beady eyes picked up on their chemistry though....either way he is definitely besotted, poor lad.

Lilia is married to Darren. Flavia is Vincent Simone's partner but I'm not sure if they're an item.

So far I've only seen the summary at the end (and Matt and Flavia's dance, which I thought was fan-bloody-tastic). Kate looked like she was trying to walk a samba. Hell lady, I could do that!

it's very frustrating that we have to wait til tomorrow for the results- and in terms of ratings (which it is obviously about), i bet it isn't worth it....

but then again, i am sad, and i will watch, and i really need a life....

Right, seen it (although we managed to fail to record the first two dances, was it once again on at a different time?)

So bored of Brendan and his "I know, I'll cause some controversy by putting in an extra lift". Just get over yourself. I didn't think there was anything special about Kelly's dance, god knows why they feel the need to praise her to the skies.

Kate's 'dance' was appalling, I do hope Anton gets someone half decent next year. I hoped him picking Kate up to carry her over to the judges was a hommage to Brendan when he just gave up mid-dance with Fiona Philips and carried her around the floor in a twirly way til the music stopped. GMTV must have some special entry criterion "be unable to perform the hokey-cokey to a credible standard".

Agree that Kate was simply awful. She can't dance!! She could barely walk around the floor!
Really sad, I know, but I'm still cross about Brendan putting in an extra lift ... but I'm more cross with Bruno for not punishing him for it! There should be something in the rules that prevents the judges from giving top scores when people blatantly take the p*.

Kate is such a blonde. She used to work on Sky and was a very good, serious reporter, she goes to GMTV and plays the dumb blonde card. Why?????????????

Again!! It's just crazy.
I can see why the judges get annoyed as they are supposed to be able to 'root out' the poorer dancers but it is making them vote between 2 people who don't deserve to go. (Still don't think they should change it tho.)

but the loyal GMTV grannies viewers will keep Kate in. Anton is adored as the boy next door, Brendan is just naughty whereas Ian Waite for example rather lacks charisma so his pairing is more vulnerable.

Well I've been on the Digital Spy spoiler thread and the result is shocking, I'm absolutely appalled by the way the voting has gone this year. The two in the dance-off were nowhere near the worst. Kate should vote herself off.
