From a newspaper so hope the facts are right:

"The hit crime drama starring Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh will premiere in the US at 9pm on 12 April, on AMC and BBC America. Episodes will be available to stream in the UK on BBC iPlayer the day after - with the premiere arriving at 6am on Monday 13 April.

Episodes will also air weekly on BBC One, starting on Sunday 19 April at 9pm."

Excellent. Thanks for that.

Ginfordinner · 28/03/2020 23:30

Goodie

ChicChicChicChiclana · 29/03/2020 00:57

How was series 2 in the end?

I only watched 1 episode and then gave up on it. Just found I couldn't be bothered.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 29/03/2020 02:09

Yes I struggled with S2 and only managed 2 or 3 episodes I think. Was it worth sticking it out, should I give it another go?!

Starksforthewin · 29/03/2020 17:57

YES, thank you BBC. In our hour of quarantine need, this is the best news. Cannot wait to see Jodie Comer lighting up our screens again. She is terrific.

My posting this info was pure generosity!

I never understood why so many people liked it Blush

Lovely generosity thank you op!

I think I am quite like a lot of viewers: was gripped by series 1 (honestly I really loved it and was raving about it) but it should have ended there.

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 29/03/2020 20:57

I liked the music OP (cigarettes after sex - K, is beautiful). I liked the black humour. I liked Jodie's ability to do different accents. I loved the Russian handler, think he is good looking.

Crinkle77 · 29/03/2020 21:04

AllTheseThings Love that song too Cigarettes After Sex first came to my attention in the Handmaids Tale when they used the song Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby. Amazing song. Series 2 was disappointing and deffo missed PWB. Hope this series is better otherwise I might be tempted to give up.

stumbledin · 29/03/2020 23:03

I think the first couple of episodes I was quite taken up with it. And then it was as though something just made me look at it differently.

Agree about Jodie doing complete character change (I got very interested in the clothes, make up etc., as well as her different accents)

I think maybe it was the Sandra Oh character. The sort of aren't I a little bit ditzy. Its that awful trend of having women as lead characters but make sure they display some silly feminine weakness.

(But dont tell anyone I will probably be watching! Did it end with the stabbing?)

SauvignonBlanche · 04/04/2020 18:25

That’s something to look forward to.

stumbledin · 10/04/2020 14:40

Apparently it will start on iPlayer a week earlier ie Monday 13th April (at 6am?)! www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2020/killing-eve-3

OP posts:
stumbledin · 10/04/2020 14:45

There is another thread saying starting 13th no spoilers so those watching a week ahead on iPlayer could use that www.mumsnet.com/Talk/telly_addicts/3870594-KILLING-EVE-3-Starts-MONDAY-13th-April-NO-SPOILERS?watched=1&msgid=95496720#95496720 and those of us waiting for terrestrial tv can use this one?!!!!!!

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 13/04/2020 06:29

It's up now OP! Brew Cake

LilacTree1 · 13/04/2020 14:22

I’m confused
Which thread do we use if were ready to talk about it? The other one says no spoilers.

stumbledin · 13/04/2020 15:03

WE are all confused. I just made the suggestion that as it will be on iPlayer once a week to use the other thread. (I think the no spoilers was written thinking it would all be released on iPlayer in one go)

And for those waiting for broadcast on BBC tv starting 6 days later to use this.

It was only because 2 threads got started so off the top of my head I had this idea about how they could each be used.

Sorry! Blush

TO ANYONE NEW TO THREAD THIS IS NOW THE WEEKLY DISCUSSION THREAD FOR BBC VIEWERS WATCHING ON A SUNDAY
A separate thread has been made for viewers watching 6 days before - this will have spoilers. Obviously you may wish to flit between the two in which case basic manners: don't spoil on here when 'live' discussion is taking place as it airs Sundays...once it has aired Sunday anyone who wishes to can join in the reactions on the iplayer thread Sunday night but be aware that the following morning each Monday we will be an episode ahead so there be spoilers. Brew Cake

stumbledin · 18/04/2020 13:32

Shall I ask MNHQ to change title to make it clear?!

OP posts:
AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 18/04/2020 19:06

Hello lovely stumbled I posted that at silly o'clock sorry, I am on the other thread so makes no difference to me personally - hopefully viewers on Sunday will realise to go to this one and that there are two.
Brew Cake I might pop on this one tomorrow and see what people think of episode 1 then on Monday revert to the iplayer thread. I'll talk to anyone Grin also I was very hard of understanding last week and the kindly folk on iplayer explained the plot to me Wink

stumbledin · 18/04/2020 21:53

Blush no one's called me lovely for years!

Lets just wait and see if it works. Smile

AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone · 19/04/2020 22:35

purple what did ya think?!

stumbledin · 19/04/2020 22:42

Thanks AllTheseThings

Well back to the actual topic. Did anyone watch this evening?

I did - and I was board! Sorry. I know there are new characters but it is getting all a bit predicatable.

I suppose she will go back to tracking down Villanelleto avenge poor Kenny.

I realise I watch it more for the sets and the clothes and the disguises.
