Anyone else having a Spooks rewatch?

I'm on series 2. My gosh Tom, what a handsome yet tortured yet brilliant spy.

And Danny, lovely lovely Danny.

Considering how dark it gets in the series to come, I'm enjoying the frivolity (in places) of the early series.

I'm also loving the tech and gadgets and how crap they are in comparison to today, but at the time (2002/03) it was all cutting edge stuff.

Desperate to rush ahead to Rupert Penry-Jones and Richard Armitage series. But then.... Oh Tom.

Obviously I'm watching for the superb story lines. The handsome men are merely a bonus.

One of my favourite ever episodes of telly is the lock down episode of Spooks, quite early on in its run I think! Probably makes for scary viewing right now, I think the scenario was a virus wasn't it?

I'm going to have to rewatch I just know it!

Oh god, I'd forgotten about that episode!!

I watched the first time with a young baby, so viewing was either interrupted or missed entirely due to some baby sick or poomageddon incident.

I also forgot how wonderful Keeley Hawes is and then the stone cold Ros in future series. Oh and Ruth!! Wonderful Ruth.

It's very nice of the Beeb to keep me, personally, entertained so nicely!
