New thread

OP posts:
Funster73 · 26/03/2020 14:44

Well that’s an hour I won’t get back!!

In between typing on here and throwing various toys for the dog...I’m left feeling a bit confused by it all?!?

PineappleDanish · 26/03/2020 14:45

Knew I recognised Gracie - she was Georgia May Foote, who I think was in Corrie and was on Strictly a couple of years ago partnered with Giovanni. She had much longer hair then.

Funster73 · 26/03/2020 14:46

Can we play now?????

docTors....into the 21st year with newly painted walls.
LIZS · 26/03/2020 14:47

She's far older than 21.

Raahh · 26/03/2020 14:47

And now- for some light relief- London KillsGrin

Raahh · 26/03/2020 14:49

aww, Funster. Grin

TDogsInHats · 26/03/2020 14:54

Raahh London Kills. I can't believe they're rerunning this, such an awful title in the current climate.

MadisonAvenue · 26/03/2020 14:55

Well...!
We’ve been moaning for ages about them doing no doctoring and then we get that!

Funster73 · 26/03/2020 14:55

I’ll have to iPlayer London Kills Raahh
I finally gave in and I’m in the garden chucking the ball for the dog.

TDogsInHats · 26/03/2020 14:56

Thanks for the new thread.
The lockdown at the mill happened a while back, so Julia's mention was an unfortunate coincidence.

Raahh · 26/03/2020 15:02

TDog I thought so. It wouldn't make sense for Julia to be talking about a lockdown now, because she no longer works there.

Redshoeblueshoe · 26/03/2020 20:48

Thanks for the new thread Fuzzy. Just caught up.

BetelgeuseIsOrionsArmpit · 26/03/2020 21:14

DH has been watching with me at the moment and he even commented on Julia’s mention about an “infectious disease”.

LightACandleHoney · 26/03/2020 21:39

Oh my! I’ve just caught up - that was pure and utter drivel!

20 years and that’s all we get?! Angry

Very disappointed we didn’t get some flashbacks to previous storylines and characters.

I wonder if Julia’s “I never really left/you never really leave” (or words to that effect) are a lead in to her returning as practice manager.

ageingdisgracefully · 26/03/2020 22:08

Perhaps Juuuuulia'll come back and marry Barry! He always held a torch for her....

Binglebong · 26/03/2020 23:47

I have to be honest, I never knew her but she seemed a bit Mary Sue on that brief glimpse.

ageingdisgracefully · 27/03/2020 08:56

I can't remember much about her either, and I've not missed an episode since DD was 1!

She was married to Christopher Timothy, who went off with another member of staff, I think.

I can't remember who replaced her - was it TBFE?

All a bit of a pleasant blur!

Funster73 · 27/03/2020 09:08

Maybe she was the only one who agreed to come back Confused

Maybe they could only afford one due to blowing (see what I did there!) the budget in the explosion!
Those SFX aren’t cheap you know!!! Grin

Funster73 · 27/03/2020 09:09

Still disappointed Joe Pasq didn’t turn up again though Hmm

Raahh · 27/03/2020 09:12

Did she marry Martin the Mechanic (the one she left with, to go to Wales?) I can't remember.

At least she didn't bring the annoying granddaughter back with her (who is her rl granddaughter, I discovered recently.) Grin

TDogsInHats · 27/03/2020 10:51

Nardi Grin @Raahh

TDogsInHats · 27/03/2020 10:53

Just a thought Raahh but you said about dog grooming being on hold. If you muzzled your dog and wore gauntlets, would you be able to trim the doggo 🐕?

TDogsInHats · 27/03/2020 10:54

Mine would need possibly more than two people to groom her, but she's as good as gold with her regular groomer apparently.

Raahh · 27/03/2020 11:05

Oh blimey,TDog NardiGrin

My dog won't even let us brush him (used to when he was younger, but now he is really resistent to it). And that's not good, with a dog that need brushing Grin.

He knows when we are at the groomers- it is at her house- and he stops dead on the drive when we get there Grin. He doesn't talk to me after he has been. Grin

Raahh · 27/03/2020 11:06

If his eyebrows get too long, I might just attempt to trim them Grin
