Ruhma, the insurance for a private midwife is quite prohibitive. But at least you aren't going to bag another well off Doctor. I thought that's where the storyline was leading.

I was shuddering watching the gamekeeper. She wasn't observing proper gun safety protocol. It needs quite a bit of strength in your trigger finger, so I don't think she'd be able to do it with her non dominant hand.
I use firearms (licensed) occasionally but I don't shoot animals.

I hope Val adopts the poor cat that's been in the sanctuary for ages. Do cats get access to outside spaces in this situation does anyone know?

I did think they were unusually fair with showing both sides of the shooting argument. I'm not saying I'm going out killing deer but I did not think they would show the reasons behind it, more "evil shoot human bad!"

Is it just me or was there no real explanation of where Julia has been, what she's been doing (retired?) and why she suddenly came back? Surely not just to help Jimmi. Were they particularly close before?

Maybe Foxy will have Ruhma deliver the baby, find out it's not his after all (I know they already had that storyline last week) and dump his GF for Ruhma and move back to Plymouth.

Yes I am baffled by Julia too. When she saw Jimmi at the courthouse, it seemed like a coincidence, so she must have been there for another reason. Yet suddenly she’s staying with him in his house and then taking him back to France.

• Where’s her family?
• Why was she in Letherbridge?
• Why is she so close to Jimmi anyway? (I don’t remember them being close before)
