TOWIE... a good bingey distraction? Start for beginning?

Almost ashamed of myself for this. I need some light hearted trashy viewing and I'm considering TOWIE. There's so many series though. Is there a good starting point further in or do I go in from the beginning? Or is it a terrible mistake?

It’s total mindless trash but I secretly love it. Definitely start from the beginning as the first 10 series were the best ones. The newest ones have been crap

Just from using Instagram I'm aware of a lot of them as they are now. I keep seeing the name on the show then realising it's the same person from Instagram but with an entirely different face. It's actually surreal.

Towie is brilliant, earlier seasons are absolute tv gold!

Are the old seasons of Love Island on Britbox? Was thinking of signing up but purely for old love islands I’ve not seen before!

I haven't ever watched TOWIE (apart from 30 seconds when I was channel hopping )
I live about 7 miles from Brentwood .....am I letting the side down?

I think I'd recognise maybe 50% of them though.
