Struggling quite badly with my metal health - anxiety and depression atm - looking for some recommendations for some things to occupy my brain as I'm struggling to get out of bed / sleep.

So far I've watched / listened to -:

love is blind
making a murderer
the i- land
the crown
maze runner
luanne the podcast
some kids Disney films
Patrick

Thank you for anyone who takes the time to list anything Smile

Better Call Saul is excellent (and did you watch Breaking Bad? - BCS is the spin off from it, and better than the original IMO)

The Young Offenders (hilarious) (BBC3 - it's on player)

Cuckoo (ditto)

Friday Night Dinner (Channel 4, but I think it may be on Netflix at the moment)

Line of Duty (Netflix)

The IT Crowd (Netflix)

The Disappearance of Margaret Fleming (BBC2 on catch up) (This is heartbreaking - a true account)

The Yorkshire Ripper Files (BBC)

Catching Britain's Killers (BBC)

Murder 24/7 (BBC)

I hope some of these are of interest to you. It is a particularly dreadful time to be suffering from anxiety and depression, I think, because of all of the fear and isolation that seems to be about anyway.

Try to take care of yourself (easier said than done, I know), and try to also get into a routine for going to bed. I've been there myself, and know how terrors spin round in your head when you try to sleep - it isn't easy.

God bless.

@SchadenfreudePersonified

Thank you so much for these.
Hopefully they'll keep me going in the middle of the night when I can't sleep BrewDaffodil

You're welcome- I hope they help to distract you.

I've been sleeping badly myself - I think it's subconscious worry over this current covid carry on.

Take care of yourself - let me know what you think of any of the programmes.
