I'm so happy. BBC has put all 10 series of Spooks on iPlayer. They said they were going to and now it's actually onπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

I think I might need to revisit it

scattercushion17 · 19/03/2020 21:58

So am I!!!!

KatyMac · 19/03/2020 22:00

I found some of the episodes very distressing and had nightmares (still do occasionally) about 2 specifically

Doilooklikeatourist · 19/03/2020 22:01

Office365 · 19/03/2020 22:03

RozHuntleysStump · 19/03/2020 22:05

Oh god the fryer 😬😬😬

rogerthatoverout · 19/03/2020 22:06

Doilooklikeatourist · 19/03/2020 22:24

Omg the fryer !

AintNobodyHereButUsKittens · 19/03/2020 22:47

Brace yourself for the chemical warfare lockdown episode in series 2 as well.

Violetroselily · 20/03/2020 08:30

I've been wanting to watch this for years. I was a bit too young for it first time round so I'm watching now for the first time Grin

Madhairday · 20/03/2020 08:34

So pleased about this!

I still have flashbacks to the fryer episode too Shock

KatyMac · 20/03/2020 12:03

Yes and the being locking in the house with the children & the electronic lock systems!!

slalomsuki · 20/03/2020 13:41

That's great news. Something to watch when we are house bound

IpanemaGallina · 20/03/2020 13:44

Ooh going to watch tonight with wine! After an awful week.

5foot5 · 20/03/2020 14:16

Also LOVE Spooks but we have the first 8 series on DVD anyway so I have watched them lots. Series 9 was awful and we prefer to pretend it didn't happen. Series 10 redeemed things slightly.

Have you seen the film with Kit Harrington in? It was pretty good actually.

averythinline · 20/03/2020 19:05

When was the fryer episode ? Thought ds 15 might like but trying to avoid too gory at the moment

Office365 · 20/03/2020 20:02

It was either the first or second episode, very early on

BestIsWest · 20/03/2020 20:12

Oh! This is great news.

scattercushion17 · 21/03/2020 14:47

I'm just embarking in episode 1, I'm excited!

stumbledin · 26/03/2020 23:01

Thanks to this thread I did start on S1 Ep1 and was surprised to see who were playing many of the main parts. Never realised Kealy Hawkes was in it.

But after 2 episodes decided it seems a bit clunky now.

And the clothes!!!

It looks like they were trying to emulate faster paced US series and didn't quite make it.

(I accept this is a minority opinion)

MrsCastiel · 26/03/2020 23:14

I remember watching it at the time and thinking it very current, stylish and sleek. I'm finding that memory hilarious watching 18 years on! They definitely tried to emulate 24 ,with the split screen and ticking clock. But at the time there was nothing else on UK tv could match it.

midsomermurderess · 27/03/2020 15:27

I'm am thinking of watching it again but am a bit fearful. Is ep 1 the one involving the deep fat frier? If so, I'm skipping that, it haunted me.

MrsCastiel · 27/03/2020 16:05

I'm clearly numbed by The Walking Dead and American Horror Story. That scene was gruesome but didn't bother me at all πŸ˜‚

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 27/03/2020 16:17

Episode 2 midsomermurderess.

I'm watching it with DD3, we're fitting in two episodes a day atm. Trying very hard not to comment on things which would spoil later episodes/storylines for dd, but mainly waiting till we get to the Lucas North storylines not that I'm shallow or anything obviously.

Although I can't get over the fact that it was first screened when DD3 was a baby - how can it possibly be so long ago??

Ontheboardwalk · 27/03/2020 22:42

I still think the fryer scene is shocking

I remember how shocking it was, what, 18 years ago. Great telly
