Just been watching the new (?) series on catch up ( actually on the iPad because the TV won’t play it.

Brilliant concept but the show is sooo formulaic, Exact same script every week.
I think it would be much better using experts from the bit of the country the recipient lives. It would promote business but could also take into account regional differences.

Also although they all look stunning, they don’t really look younger in terms of years. One lady, who the public thought was 60, still sort of looked that but just as a very glossy version. Maybe because made up and dressed up actresses alway look like that and you know they are actually 10 years older. Or something.

I would like to see them a few months down the line when the Botox/fillers have run out and everyday has well and truly kicked in.

Anyone can look good when professionally done up and with a fancy outfit on.

And don't get me started on the public and their age 'guesses'. How much are they paid to say the person looks 20 years older than they are when they actually only look about 5 years older at the maximum.

I find it a bit sad that the solution always seems to be 'straighten your hair!' rather than showing them how to make the best of their natural curls.

Straight hair, dye away the greys, high heels, new teeth and bright lipstick. Not very imaginative.

I totally agree @seekingwaxwings the woman from last week just needed to dye her hair and she would have looked so much younger. I found that the make up she had on aged her. Why do they always make them wear massive high heels?

I liked the old version where they did face lift and things like that. Much more entertaining to watch.

I’m on the second episode and think it’s a shame the hairdresser straightened both women’s hair. I’d hoped they would help them embrace their natural curls
