AIBU to think Ali's hair is weird

I am distracted when watching Coronation Street and Ali is on screen , what is going on with his hair ?

It’s a bit mental isn’t it, my partner comments on it every time we watch and it drives me mental, just watch the programme I know you think he’s got dodge hair but perhaps it’s to make him look a bit unkempt or maybe he likes it like that lol 😂 he looks like he’s got birds nesting in it..
