We watched some live snooker at the weekend on TV (the Gibraltar open)
It was played in front of no audience, it was really weird and actually quite upsetting. I'm a massive snooker fan and I felt sorry for everyone involved. No hand shaking or encouragement from the crowd.

TDog I get you. Over on the tennis thread, we know that there are more important things going on, but it is still frustrating, and quite sad that so much of the season is over. Watching tennis is my escape from real life. Along with Doctors .

Fuzzy they sound great. I am jealous of my girls, they really suit glasses (both started wearing them at 8)- I grew up in the era of pink national health ones that went yellow with age, and got contacts when I was 14. It's only recently I have found glasses I like.

Both opticians and dentists near me are still making new appointments today. Noone I work with is very impressed!

My dh went to the dentist yesterday, must say I was a bit concerned. But needs must.

I must admit, I am expecting the dental checkups I have booked for them in the holidays to be cancelled. Not great, as dd2 has a number of problems with her teeth due to her adult teeth not coming through properly/not being enough room. She has been referred to the dental hospital for some of it, but she does need a couple of filling (long term medication has played havoc with her teeth).

Not got a lot going for her, bless her .

I cancelled our dental appointments today. Only check ups and the waiting room will be full of germy people and we are in isolation. SO no going out for us!

Although I do have to go to the drs for routine tests in a week or so. They will let you wait in your car and ring you when they are ready for you. Excellent.

I've cancelled dentist. We were going to a wedding, we and many others have dropped out. DH has no work, and his sport is all cancelled.
It won't be the virus that kills us

Both my DCs have been to the orthodontist this week, in both cases we were the only people in the waiting rooms. Cats are due jabs at the vet on Thurs but other than that no appointments. I pay for contact lenses on direct debit so I am still supporting my optician.

Oh and still watching Doctors
