Hillary Mantel Return to Wolf Hall

Came across this by accident and really enjoyed it. I saw the BBC adaptation of Wolf Hall and although I am an avid reader I've never read any of her books. Will be putting that right very soon.

I saw it. She's had an interesting life, hasn't she?

Wolf Hall/ Bring up the Bodies is definitely worth a read. It took me a couple of goes to get into it, mind!

Bought the new book now and can't wait to dip in.

I have them in paperback and also on audible, and they are superb in both forms!

I've just got the audible download of the final book "The Mirror and the Light", but although I am enjoying it, it isn't as good as the previous two. The narrator has changed and I don't find him as good - the character has completely changed due to the new interpretation.

I keep trying to imagine it in the old voice, but can't quite grasp it. :(
