How to look good naked

I watched this when it first came out and loved it. Can see it's back on Wed and for some reason I felt uncomfortable seeing the woman cry, her body beamed onto a high street with Gok shouting 'we have boobs on the high street' or similar. Then the fake tan towel shot and the cat walk. It just seems a bit old hat and playing into the stereotyping of women as objects. Having said that I'm not sure if he includes a wide diverse selection of people etc using the same formula but all I could see on the trailer were women.. However I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it. Has anyone else seen the trailer?

I'm watching S1 Ep1 now, the woman's situation (and figure) are akin to mine. I also have an autistic DS and struggle.

I think it still promotes the idea that you have to “ look good” naked. People that get naked a lot really don’t give a monkeys if anyone thinks they look good or not.
It was like going topless in the 80’s. It’s what you did. Not sexual, not for attention but so you could get a tan.
I think he should just cart them off to a Turkish Bath house with loads of other naked women.

@leflic - good points. The naked photo shoot kind of sexualised the whole thing. You're right, being in a naked environment with other women, such as a Turkish Bath or a spa would be much more useful.

I was part of a women's rugby team. We had a range of ages from 16 to 40 and just about every shape from tiny hookers to obese props, leggy second rows and majorly fit wingers. All with boobs, hips and things of every variety.
There was showers afterwards obviously. The older and uglier ones couldn’t have cared less, whilst the younger ones were clearly embarrassed. But interestingly after a month or two you got used to being naked in front of each other. Everyone had mottled blue frozen skin , long red stud welts and a selection of bruises ; so stretch marks, Brazilian waxes or lack off were neither here nor there.
I think How to look good naked should make the women do a season at the local rugby club. Body confidence guaranteed plus a bit of fitness.😁
